Morah Mushky Vogel holds a dual Masters degree in General and Special Education, with a focus on early childhood. She brings her background training in the Montessori style to the classroom, promoting independence and responsibility amongst the students. As director, Morah Mushky ensures the Preschool Department runs smoothly by collaborating with the staff, keeping open communication with parents, and ensuring the needs of the children are met in an environment where they can thrive. Morah Mushky’s classroom is child friendly, promotes imagination, and set up in a way where her students can learn through play and exploration, bringing learning to life.

Mrs. Shaelyn Barbarechech is a passionate caregiver with a degree in Early Childhood Education. With a deep commitment to fostering the growth and development of young learners, Miss Shaelyn creates a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where children feel encouraged to explore, learn, and thrive. With experience in implementing creative, play-based learning strategies, Miss Shaelyn strives to support each child’s individual needs and celebrate their unique strengths.

Morah Chana Harkavy is the assistant teacher in the toddler classroom at Beth Shalom Academy. She has four years of experience working with preschool aged children. And has also served in a summer camp for four years as the Jewish Culture head teacher where she led fun and engaging activities for grades K-8. Chana is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a focus on Education. She is passionate about creating a warm, positive environment where children can learn through play and discovery.

Miss Michelle Costillo is the Assistant Teacher to our very lovely Toddler Class! Michelle went to Marywood University with a focus on early childhood education. She loves doing arts and crafts with her classes, teaching the English ABC’s and numbers! She loves spending everyday with her very energetic students!
